For 40 years, I've watched gifted photographers and filmmakers compromise their vision because they lacked the right resources. They had the talent but lacked access to a professional space, the right gear, or a supportive network to bring their projects to life. Great ideas were being held back by makeshift solutions. I founded Our Studio to solve that problem.
My mission is to create a bridge between your creative ambition and a professional result. We do this by giving you total creative control in a professional environment, but without the crippling cost and overhead of owning your own studio. By sharing the co-working studio space and leveraging our network for group discounts, we help you create higher quality work while lowering your production costs.

Garnet McPherson
For four decades Garnet has been on the front lines of media production. He has worked in photography and film globally. He has designed and developed multi-user studio facilities across Canada and as a former photography professor at Sheridan College and Dean of Media Studies at the Creative Arts Institute he has taught and mentored many image makers from coast to coast.

A Hub Designed for Victoria's Creative Community
When we decided to build new studios on Vancouver Island, we knew we needed to create a hub, designed to serve the region's growing community of content creators, web developers, photographers, videographers, and marketing agencies.
That's why we located our studios in Greater Victoria, all with Free Parking and direct transit access. Inside our studios you will find space optimized for both photo and video production, dedicated make-up, hair and dressing rooms, along with professional production equipment and support services.
Every element—from easy ground-floor access, to the professional technology, and studio assistants—are all chosen to remove friction from your workflow.
